We've been transfixed by his unheimlich sacrifices of late, calling to mind an unlikely, hyperstitious amalgam of occult sounds with the bewitching black metal desolation of Wold, the outsider avant-oddness of Ghedalia Tazartes, the alien synth-jazz primitivism of Pekka Airiksinen, and Decimus at his most detached, astral. 'Tears in Heaven' is quite possibly our favourite Edasi composition; an inimitable fusion of whirling organ, twanging eastern mysticism and motorik roil giving way to unsettling ambience..."
